Connecting the international LIS-Family

Dear BOBCATSSS planning committee---
On behalf of the library students from the College of St. Catherine, we would like to thank you for including us in the 2008 BOBCATSSS conference. It was an unbelievable experience and one that we will never forget. We are so grateful for the unique opportunity to meet students from 26 countries, hear presentations from students, professors, and other professionals, and learn about the emerging issues for international libraries and professionals.
Being afforded the ability to talk face-to-face with people from various political and cultural backgrounds is something that we will cherish. We do not have the same opportunity in the U.S. and just reading about such an experience would not resonate as much as the conference did.
Thank you for opening up your doors to your neighbors across the Atlantic. We look forward to keeping in touch with our new network of friends and hope to see each other again soon!
